Secular Woman needs you! We are working to fill our committees with qualified members.

Committees

Committees are lead by a Board member. Each committee chair may create (sub)committees as needed. Generally, we prefer committees of under 5 people.

Marketing/Branding: Responsible for all marketing, advertising, public relations and organizational communication, including: newsletters, press releases, magazines/blogs, etc. Additionally, responsible for creating and managing all activities related to fund development, including: fundraising, major gifts, donor relations, recordkeeping, grants, events, etc. Immediate need for fundraisers, a grant writer, a graphic designer and an event coordinator. Approximate time committment for this oversight committee is 5 hours per week.

Membership: Responsible for creating services, increasing, and retaining membership, including: forums and groups and their moderation, membership guidelines, benefits, etc.

Operations: Responsible for creating and maintaining technology infrastructure, including; website, social networking, databases, conferencing, etc., and for developing best practices for administration and governance to support the organization's growth. Immediate need for a Drupal administrator experienced with CiviCRM, content editors, a podcast consultant, and assistants with HTML/.css knowledge.

Programs: Responsible for the programs, including: conference grants, speakers bureau, awards, etc.
